What saves it is that Firebase sits inside Google Cloud, so outgrowing it is normally an expansion rather than a migration. Data exports to BigQuery when analytics get serious, heavier logic moves to Cloud Run, and the app carries on using Firebase for sign-in and sync. We plan that path at the start, which is why the data model matters more on day one than it appears to.
