Aurora Health Partners ran patient communication through phone calls and a portal patients rarely opened. Care teams spent hours a week on calls that a well-designed app could resolve in seconds, and patients were missing time-sensitive updates about their own care.

We built a native iOS app centered on a single home screen showing what a patient needs next: upcoming appointments, new lab results, and unread messages from their care team. HealthKit integration let patients optionally share activity and vitals data directly with their provider, and secure messaging replaced the phone tag that was consuming staff time.
